One of them is IPL .

Intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments are proven to be astonishingly effective in treating acne. Not a lot of people are aware that IPL is so successful as an acne treatment. IPL acne treatments can be life changing for those that have it done.

How does it work?
The IPL system releases yellow, green and red light that is emitted in a series of short pulses. This destroys the bacteria that live in the skin and cause inflammation. The red light directly targets the overactive sebaceous glands that block pores and cause outbreaks of pustules. The light also stimulates collagen production in the area, helping to improve the

Thread veins or broken capillaries are a common feature of an ageing face, particularly on the cheeks and nose. Whether they are due to your genes or a result of excessive UV ray exposure, they can be a bit of a confidence knocker. So we wanted to let you know that the SkinBase IPL treatment can help you get rid of them!

What is IPL?
IPL (intense pulsed light) therapy treats thread veins by emitting wavelengths of light into the skin. The light is filtered to target the haemoglobin in the thread veins. I have found myself resiting this so much lately.

It has been a tough year in business but we have to accept all the things that we just cannot control and lockdowns are one of those things.

What I can do is not let the lockdown cause me to much stress and ensure my wonderful staff are ok.

We will close tomorrow at 1pm . All appointments that are booked in between now and January 12th will be cancelled .

Once we have a definite day for reopening we will open the system up.

I hope you all have a wonderful Xmas and we will look forward to seeing you all back again when we can safely reopen
